I wanted to learn a bit more about the video game industry workflow and how to properly optimize an asset for a video game engine.
This Neil Armstrong suit was made for an Unreal/HTC Vive project, sculpt in Zbrush, retopo and UVs made in Maya, the sculpt details were exported as a normal map from Zbrush, textures were (3 4k UDIMS), the model is made of 25 000 polygons.
Everything was based on references to the real Neil Armstrong suit.
